Whilst searching through all the options for your MCSE qualification, you’re likely to get punch-drunk with information overload. So here’s a nice and simple outline about choosing the most up-to-date, user friendly training available.
Home-based learning can be split into two groups: The first is disc-based – only consider fully interactive training; it’s reasonably priced and does the job well. To do this type of course well is expensive as you have to include the cost of the college overhead and the course materials. You also have to spend more money travelling to and from the centre for classroom visits.

But where this type of training really takes off is in the cutting-edge interactive labs. Here you can gain a ‘hands-on’ learning experience – a good package will enable you to interact with software without it being loaded onto your PC.
Find a company that’s focused on giving good advice and value for money – and avoid the big companies that are ruled by targets. You should expect to be offered help and advice on the right way forward for you; asked questions about your personality, and your likes and dislikes in the working environment. This ensures you’re doing the right thing for you.
Your goal should be to find the right job for you – one you can actually look forward to doing on Monday mornings. Once that bit’s sorted, finding the right course, with the qualifications employers are looking for will be straight forward with the right advice.
